“A Meteor” by Irma Kurti

There are people you would like to encounter
on your life’s path at least once again,
touch their universe with slow fingers
and share an opinion, a smile together.

You have known them only for an instant
but they remain impressed on your mind,
permeate all your thoughts like lightning
and illuminate them like a meteor does the sky.
