A poem by Carl Scharwath

Time and Eternity

Through the lens,
I watch the world pause,
its breath held in a frame of light.

In this rectangle of truth,
I trap a fragment of forever,
a silent witness to the now,
and in that moment,

the world is mine–
dancers caught mid-pirouette
a story told without words,
a symphony in silence.
